"If cats could talk, they wouldn't."You either love cats or you tolerate them. Erm... and even if you do love cats, I assure you that there will be a point in time when you will barely be able to tolerate them. Because, oh my God, are cats demanding or what! There will come a time when the cat in your life will just get on your nerves―either because it will insist on engaging in a little tête-à-tête (and by that I mean guttural sounds that range from the Marge Simpson-voice to banshee) with the street cat at 3 a.m. (this will be perfectly timed on a night when you have to wake up for a meeting at 5 a.m. You know it will) or because it suddenly decides that it no longer loves the cat food that you bought a hundred pounds of because it just could not get enough of it till like an hour before. Sigh...

But does that mean that you're going to give up on cats? Hahaha! Good one. 'Cause you see, once you're a cat lover, there's no looking back. You're in it for good. Cats are spoiled, cats are demanding, cats are this and cats are that ... whatever other shade of negativity that you choose to bestow upon the creature, it does not affect a cat owner's love. Never ever. We take pride in our cats' idiosyncrasies (that is exactly what it is, not some superiority complex that the Internet seems to perpetrate). And for whatever else cats are looked upon with wary and caution, it is completely overridden by the fact that nothing can replace the soft fur of purring-cuteness-overload that a cat brings in. Seriously.
Our love for these furry miracles of God has gone to a whole new level, you guys (you can choose to call it whatever, I'm sticking with love). The Internet is literally exploding with pictures of cats. And it's not just pictures, it's a whole new deal―it comes with captions. As a cat owner, you completely understand it. I mean, if cats could speak, this is exactly what they would do, this is exactly what they would say. So, instead of just writing about it, I'm going to show you what I meant in the above sections. If you love your cats like I love my cats, it's going to be one hell of a ride. Let's go.
I could go on and on, really; and it will always come down to the nonsensical sounds of uhhhs and aaahs, and the sighing and the guffawing when it's anything to do with cats. Because when you're a cat lover, it's always, always unconditional love, bordering on obsession. What can I say―give me the soft coat and the furry paws any day. I'll take the added attitude with absolute glee. There. I said it.
